Well, if anyone's interested, I'm a languages graduate (English and French), currently struggling to find a job after my last one lost its funding. Doesn't real life suck sometimes?

In the much more interesting virtual world, I've recently rediscovered "Red Dwarf" via the DVDs and then the internet. On rewatching, I realised that the slashiness was a large part of its appeal to me (although I love the comedy too) and started making up stories in my head about Lister and Rimmer. Then I found "Red Dwarf Slash" and realised I wasn't alone.

I'm amazed at the quality of most of the stories here, and I still haven't finished going through the archives.

My other interests include "Buffy" and "Angel" (although strangely I've never really felt the urge to write fanfic about them), musicals (from "Rocky Horror" to "Singin' In The Rain"), vintage films in general and women's tennis.

I identify as a lesbian who enjoys both m/m and f/f slash fiction, strange though that may appear to some people. Scanning the archives here, I was pleased to see that I'm not alone in that. Sexuality is a spectrum, I guess.

I'm also a cat lover. Cat the RD character is OK too, but my favourite character is Lister, followed by Rimmer.
